What are STEM Partnerships?
STEM Partnerships (formerly known as Regional STEM Support Centres) are a series of 'hubs' that provide up-to-date information, support and advice to schools about quality science technology engineering and mathematics activities that enhance and enrich the curriculum.
These partnerships enable schools to match their specific STEM needs with the opportunities and activities in their region, and to support the development of key skills for young people.

Who are they for?
STEM Partnerships are for everyone with an interest in enriching young people’s experience of STEM, including schools, colleges, teachers, advisors and organisations involved in STEM education provision.

How do they work?
STEM Partnerships provide a two-way communication channel for access to regional activities and events. If you are looking for ideas for a Science and Engineering Week activity, an end of term project or activity, or contacts for links within science and industry then this is the place to start. How does this relate to the STEM Report?
The STEM Programme Report was published by the DfES (DCSF) and DTI (DIUS) on 10th October 2006, having been set up to examine the range of initiatives that currently support this agenda.
